Eden got her first tooth this month! Let me tell you...teething is not fun for anybody! The worst of it only lasted for a few days, but that little tooth turned our "sleep all night" baby into a "wake up every hour" baby. The last night before the tooth finally broke through the gums was probably the worst night sleep we've all had since the second night after Eden was born (when we were still in the hospital). It definitely made us even more grateful for what a wonderful sleeper we have!
Every day, it seems like Eden becomes more and more independent at her play. She has a music table that we've left the legs off of until she can stand and she loves to move it and spin it around to get to the buttons she wants. Then again, one of her favorite "toys" is the remote control! We took the batteries out of an old TV remote so that she can push buttons to her hearts content without messing with our TV (and surrond sound) settings.
Spring is finally blooming at our house so we decided to take some snapshots of Eden in front of our flowers. She was far more interested in playing with them and turning around to look at them than smiling for the camera, but we managed to get a few good ones!
We thought if we gave her a flower, she'd quit turning around to look at them, but that just encouraged her to play!
Here are some of Eden's monthly pictures for 8 months. She's getting so active that it's becoming more and more difficult to get pics of her how I pose her. But I love to see her personality coming out in the pictures.
